The Rundown: Roland prepares to move his family again while the events that led them to run continue to unfold.

A man finds himself pulled from ancient Rome back into the year 2425 where young Richie gets to see his uncle in action at his job while the family matriarch prepares for a trip to Titan and Rodney pays his son a visit while Roland is working on a new project for his brother in law’s company. A dangerous project that could extend life, but at a dangerous cost.
In the present, Roland has a talk with his wife about the fact that they will have to run again if his sister has discovered where they are while Richie works on a project of his own in secret.
The Story: I continue to enjoy seeing and experiencing the world that Tomasi is creating in this series and with these characters. As the stakes are continuously raised for the family, we learn more about their complicated relationship dynamics, interpersonal conflicts and personalities and I appreciate that as a reader. I like seeing the subtle tragedy of Raina dealing with her family and look forward to seeing the events that broke the family apart.
The Art: Manapul and Oum deliver stunning, visually engaging art throughout the issue. I love the imagery in this series and beautiful details across pages and panels.
